Catching Up
Here are just a few updated picts of the kids! We have been without internet for awhile and just got it hooked up, so now I'm playing catch-up! Addie is 4 and it the best little girl. She is staying busy with swiming lessons, messy art camp and whatever else she can talk me into. She is the best older sister and even attempts to put Isaac down for bed so her and dad can play games together. (Of course that never ends good) Isaac is 20 months and is a happy and goofy little boy. We also call him the "terror"child. For you that know him, you know exactly what that means, but he keeps me laughing and running after him all say long. Molly is 3 1/2 months and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more smiley baby than her. I just can't put her down sometimes because she is so into you and smiling and laughing, she makes you feel giulty if you lay her down....but still doesn't cry. She was a horrible newborn so she's making up for it now. Molly just got diagnosed with auditory neuropathy which is a variety of hearing loss in which the outer hair cells within the cochlea are present and functional, but sound information is not faithfully transmitted to the auditory nerve and brain properly. So pretty much her nerves are not working right and she has permanent hearing loss. We're thankful it is only in her right ear. Her left ear is totally fine. With further testing in the months to come we will be able to decifier how much hearing loss there actually is, etc. The doctors we are working with are great and are really helping us out. All in all, everything is going great and we are having a busy and fun summer!

Addie had so much fun on her 4th birthday! It was a princess-themed party complete with her guests in their princess attire and a pink castle cake (that looked a lot cuter in the picture I tried to copy)!!! They put on makeup, painted fingernails, made wands, and played pin the tail on the donkey. Turning 4 in our house is like a right of passage....I'm happy that she thought it was to coolest party ever!!! Tuesday, February 17, 2009
